Introverts are not anti-social. We love our friends just like extroverts do. But we just tend to keep our circle small and tight.

Here is a list of social self-care ideas for introverts to nurture your relationships without stressing yourself.

Spring clean your social media

Introverts have a limited social battery. Keeping up with everyone on Instagram or Facebook can be pretty overwhelming. Downsizing your social circle means you have more energy for meaningful relationships. If it requires a few unfriends and unfollows, why not?

Talk to an old friend

Do you have a childhood friend that you haven’t talked to in a while? Reconnecting with an old friend can take you back to some of the best moments.

Check-in with your best friend

Even the most introverted introverts need friends. And true friendship takes work. If you are not into calls, leave a message and say Hi. Let your friends know you care. Small efforts go a long way.

Engage in solitary activities

Parties and alcohol are not your only option. Go to a movie, see a play, or sit in a coffee house to read. Quietly enjoy each other’s company.
