Ready for a virtual vacation across the globe? These landmark coloring pages are the perfect escape after a long work day.
During the pandemic, I stumbled upon a post about how to spend time indoors without going insane, and taking a virtual vacation was on the list. You can use Google Maps to explore any place in the world, even when you’re trapped between the four walls of your home.
To me, coloring landmarks works wonders in the same way. I discovered landmark coloring by accident, and there’s something transformative about coloring the Eiffel Tower at 11 PM in your apartment.
Suddenly, you’re not just filling in lines—you’re mentally strolling through Parisian streets, imagining the tower glowing golden at sunset. The Taj Mahal becomes your canvas for experimenting with unconventional colors. Who says it has to be white? Make it lavender. Make it yours.
What started as a way to unwind after long workdays became something much deeper—a form of virtual travel that satisfied my wanderlust when my bank account couldn’t.
That’s why I created this mini-series of iconic landmark coloring pages. Each landmark carries stories of human ambition and artistry that will make you feel humble.
To use these coloring pages, click on the image and a full-resolution file will open in a new tab. Download and print it on paper of your choice. I recommend using colored pencils or markers, but you can use anything you have access to.

Iconic landmark coloring pages
Taj Mahal Coloring Page
I’ve colored this one probably a dozen times. Sometimes I go classic with soft grays and whites, other times I get wild with purples and blues. The best part? You get to color it twice because of the reflection. It’s like getting two masterpieces for the price of one.
The Eiffel Tower Coloring Page
I’ll never get tired of coloring the Eiffel Tower. All those tiny lattice patterns make it feel like a puzzle. The trees around it give you a chance to go wild with greens, and I love how the whole scene feels like you’re sitting in a Parisian park.
St. Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow
This one reminds me of my ice cream coloring page collection because of those swirling onion domes. I’ve done rainbow versions, pastel dreams, and even went full neon once.
The best part? You don’t even have to stick to the actual colors of the cathedral. I’m thinking something darker or a black-and-white version. What do you think?
Statue of Liberty Coloring Page
Lady Liberty is probably the most patriotic symbol of the US, but this iconic statue can be tricky to color.
Consider using similar shades on the flowing robes to create a smooth and natural look. While the torch is usually bright gold or orange, adding a twist of darker color to it can be fun.
The Colosseum in Rome
This one’s a workout for your colored pencils. All those arches create an amazing rhythm across the page, and I love playing with shadows to make it look three-dimensional. If you’re feeling adventurous, a shade of gold as sunset hues can really lighten up the page.
Sydney Opera House Coloring Page
Those shell-shaped roofs are absolutely gorgeous to color. I usually go for ocean blues and whites to match the harbor setting, but I’ve seen people do amazing things with purples and pinks.
The Great Wall of China
This one blows my mind every time. The way the wall snakes through those mountains feels like coloring a magnificent dragon. I love working on all that foliage—so many different greens to play with. The wall itself is fun too—you can go realistic with stone grays or get creative with warmer earth tones.
Golden Gate Bridge
This famous San Francisco bridge is one of the world’s most recognizable landmarks. The way those cables sweep down feels like coloring pure elegance in motion. I love working on all that intricate steelwork—so many grays and metallics to play with.
The Parthenon
The Parthenon is an ancient Greek temple atop the Acropolis hill in Athens, Greece.
I absolutely love this coloring page! The beautiful fluted surfaces give me so many opportunities to play with light and shadow using different shades of cream, white, and soft grays.
Big Ben
I think we can all agree that Big Ben is the world’s most famous clock. Standing beside the Houses of Parliament in London, England, it is both a historical landmark and an architectural masterpiece.
I get so excited looking at all those gorgeous Gothic details just waiting for color! I love adding depth to those clock faces and making the Thames sparkle with blues and greens.
If you like to go even more into detail, the following close-up version is perfect for you.
Christ the Redeemer
Christ the Redeemer is the towering Art Deco statue that watches over Rio de Janeiro from atop Corcovado mountain in Brazil. It gives me chills every time I see those outstretched arms reaching across the page!
