If you are friends with them for long, you know how to appreciate their sarcastic humor without getting easily offended.
But I also understand why people may hate Geminis. My Gemini friends identify themselves as “reckless”. They are like a sports car running around at full speed, leaving their casualties behind.

A well-developed Gemini is flexible and knows how to adapt to different situations. While a less evolved Gemini tends to be inconsistent. Ask Gemini their favorite spot in town, and you will get a different answer each time.
That’s why Geminis got a bad rap of being two-faced. And sometimes, they aren’t even aware of this toxic trait. For them, it’s simply playing the roles accordingly. And it could leave others feeling clueless.
Unable to commit
Geminis are powered by excitement. They love to experiment and enjoy the thrill of starting something new. But they are probably not ready to take things seriously.
Don’t get me wrong. I am not saying Geminis are all playboys or playgirls. When they fall in love, they are head-to-toe. They will take you to places, shower you with compliments and make you feel loved like no one else did before. But they do have a sky-high standard for the perfect partner.
Because Geminis get bored quickly, they expect a variety of qualities from their partners. You need to be smart to match their wit. And you have to be adventurous, creatives, and supportive. Unfortunately, they don’t always find all they want in one single person.
Plus, anything with a long timespan is basically scary. It’s a challenge for them to focus on a single task for 20 minutes. “Love for life,” “a job for the next 20 years,” or “a 5-year plan” is enough to smother a Gemini.

Gemini is the king of gossip. They are wit and fast, and they pick up details like a magnet. Being social butterflies, they have access to all kinds of information. They know Lisa has a crush on the newcomer. And the bad blood between Dave and the manager? Can’t hide it from a Gemini.

And when they are actually doing the job, they pay little attention to the rules. It’s not a bad thing to come up with a creative solution. But an immature Gemini might break the rules for the sake of it. And others may end up cleaning their mess.
I have a Gemini friend, and she is a passionate baker. She always tries to skip procedures when baking a cake. 9 times out of 10, we have to eat her epic-Pinterest-fail cake. But she still does the same thing over and over again. It’s not a toxic trait to be innovative. But it’s annoying to break the rules for no reason and never learn the lessons.

Though most people see them as happy, cheery social animals, they have their emotional side. As an air sign, Geminis go through tremendous mood swings. They bury their emotions deep and will not easily show.
To be honest, Geminis have a complete skill set to be a psychopath. Their mind is overly active, and it keeps picking up energies from their surroundings. They are sensitive overthinkers. They can laugh now and burst into tears the next minute.
This toxic trait of Gemini can leave others puzzled, not knowing how to help them. If you rub them the wrong way at the wrong time, they may bash you with the most sarcastic words you’ve ever heard.
